fireworks on a lonely out-of-the-way street stopping by a stand to buy sunglasses
seeing the world through kaleidoscope pieces...rereading the same page of my book
high blood sugar: a cheap vase full of different colored rocks in the kitchen
special elections in November --- another night of arousal and only myself in shadows
new space downtown: a leisurely afternoon of buying things i don't need at all
floating down a flooded street --- afternoon and dead flowers that belong to no one
beneath my bluster a mere child --- through the walls hearing a couple argue
you have weekends --- how often i spend time imagining castles built out of sand
wordless - all of us on this night bus weary from work and ourselves
another April morning --- a father escorts his child to school over and over again
lights at dusk along the river all these depressed homes --- unforgettable unforgettable
not enough to be a lover an abandoned speakeasy on the outskirts of town
like a whiskey i don't find too appealing --- the man i despise skies are overcast
